Peace Child Care is closed for all major holidays. These holidays include:
If any of these holidays land on a Saturday, we will be closed on Friday. If the holiday lands on a Sunday, we will be closed on Monday.
Peace Child Care may need to close due to foreseen weather or emergencies.
For inclement weather during the school year, PCC will follow the closing and two-hour delay procedures of the Baldwin-Woodville School District. Family and staff will also receive an email and message through ProCare from the Peace Child Care director/administrator about the closing or delay.
If school is not in session, Peace Child Care will close for the day and families and staff will notified through email and ProCare. In the event of a 2-hour delay in the morning, we will be open at normal hours.
If inclement weather occurs during the day, parents/guardians will be notified through email, ProCare, or phone calls to make arrangements to have their child(ren) picked u as soon as possible to ensure that Peace Child Care children, families, and staff can return home safely.
Families are responsible for making alternate arrangements for their child(ren) when Peace Child Care is closed. Due to this non-voluntary closure, staff will be paid for their scheduled hours that day, and families will pay the contracted rate for their child(ren)'s scheduled time.
