Ms. Sara Groskreutz

Ms. Sara is an assistant teacher at Peace Child Care.

Schooling:

  • I am currently a senior at Baldwin-Woodville High School. I have plans to attend the University of St. Thomas in the fall of 2026. I will be working towards a major in biology and continue on a pre-optometry course.
  • I am CPR, First Aid, Abusive Head Trauma, and Mandated Reporter Certified

Family:

I am the youngest child in my family of four, with my sister and I three years apart. We have 3 cats and a mini golden doodle named Piper, who might be the true favorite of the family. My dad works with natural gas and my mom is a testing manager. As a family we love to travel, explore, and hike anything in sight! We are also very sports oriented, as we are often out playing softball or pickleball on the weekends.

Interests:

Personally, I love to spend my free time at the lake wake surfing with friends and family; as well as playing softball, traveling and of course shopping. I am a very active person and spend lots of my free time outdoors!

Why are you a part of Peace Child Care?

Although a newer member, I chose to be a part of Peace Child care to spend more time with the kids of our community. Interacting with children will not only put a smile on my face everyday but give me a better look at whether or not specializing in pediatrics in the future for myself.  Down the road, I hope to be an Optometrist that specializes in pediatrics as I have a huge love for kids! This job allows me to work hands on with the kids, and build a stronger relation with them.
